Christopher Wong Zhi Yi

Christopher is a fund manager with experience in both public and private market locally and globally. Specialist in crafting unique private fund that fits the market trend and investor’s needs. Christopher is an experienced professional in the finance and investment industry. He has worked with some of the most reputable multinational companies, such as the Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) and International Business Machines (IBM).
Upon graduating from Lancaster University with a Bachelor’s Degree in BA (Hons) Accounting and Finance, he started his career with the Royal Bank of Canada (RBC), serving as a Fund Accountant. His duties included the calculation of NAV of RBC’s investment portfolio, predominantly within the London Stock Exchange.
Christopher served as a country financial analyst for International Business Machines (IBM) Malaysia. He was responsible for the entire software category’s financial forecast and projection for the Philippines. He ensured that each software project and implementation adhered to the budget set out by the company and managed macroeconomic risks.
Subsequently, at Crewstone International, Christopher, with his unique approach to investments and deep understanding of investors’ needs, successfully structured, created, set up, and managed funds with more than USD 230,000,000 in assets under management during his first 12 months with the company. This achievement made him one of the youngest in the industry to set up and manage funds with over USD 200,000,000 in assets under management. Additionally, he successfully helped raise capital for multiple companies, with total investments exceeding MYR 30,000,000.

Marcus Tan Kian Han

Marcus is a corporate lawyer focusing and has extensive experiences in capital market, finance, fund management, family office, cross border investments and corporate laws.
Marcus is a practicing lawyer in Malaysia and founded his own practice by the name of Marcus Tan & Co, later joined by other partners with the same vision of becoming legal-preneurs. Currently, Marcus Tan & Co offers legal services in various areas of practice, including corporate law, dispute resolution, construction, real estate law, and offshore Labuan matters.
Marcus personally focuses and practices in corporate law and capital markets, including but not limited to corporate advisory, IPOs, fundraising, fund management, setting up of family offices, cross-border investments, mergers & acquisitions, Labuan offshore matters, data protection, and the entertainment industry.
Marcus is a senior partner in Censuria Capital Sdn Bhd, a private equity management corporation (PEMC) licensed by the Securities Commission of Malaysia.
He is a director at GDC Fund Management Ltd, a fund management company licensed by the Labuan Financial Services Authority (LFSA).
He is also a member of the Audit & Risk Committee (ARC) at Tunku Abdul Rahman University College Education Foundation.
In December 2023, Marcus was nominated and awarded the “40 Under 40” Asia Pacific by Lexis Nexis.

Vic Chuah Men Sin

Vic is a seasoned capital market advisor specializes in IPO and SPAC with four completed IPO listing in China and Hong Kong under his belt within the span of three years. Vic Chuah is a seasoned advisor in the capital markets, specializing in Initial Public Offering (IPO) and Special Purpose Acquisition Company (SPAC) processes across Hong Kong, China, and NASDAQ. Currently serving as the China Senior Partner for SPAC listings at Wenin Capital, he plays a pivotal role in facilitating NASDAQ listings for the company.
After graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Economy from Universiti Putra Malaysia, Vic commenced his career as a Marketing Manager at United Overseas Bank (UOB). In his role, he managed credit proposals, loan sanctions, and loan disbursements.
Following his tenure at UOB, Vic served as a Financial Advisor at Rome Consultant, where he played a crucial role in assisting over 600 small and medium enterprises (SMEs) with their financial structuring needs. Notably, he successfully raised RM 80 million in funds for three listed companies.
In 2017, Vic ventured into entrepreneurship, establishing FG Capital. His firm specializes in both equity and debt financing, covering a spectrum of financial services such as pre-and post-IPO fundraising, private placements, and mergers and acquisitions (M&A) for equity financing. Additionally, the firm provides bank financing and mezzanine bridging loans as part of its debt financing services.
Between 2017 and 2019, Vic achieved significant milestones by successfully listing four Malaysian companies on stock exchanges in Fuzhou, China, and Hong Kong. These companies include Hansard Group Sdn Bhd, LKB Bio Innovations Co. Limited, Manjong Bio Ocean Venture Sdn Bhd, and Heng Hup Holdings Limited.

Aniec Liu
Senior Partner (Greater China Area)
A Charted Accountant in the UK and an entrepreneur in China, currently serves as the Senior Partner overseeing Spartan Ives Capital operations in the Greater China region.
Having graduated from Nottingham University Business School, Aniec began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) assurance practice in 2012. During his 5-year tenure at PwC, Aniec successfully managed and concluded several high-yield audit projects for private equities. He later transitioned to a team specializing in UK-China cross-border Merger & Acquisition deals.
Following his departure from PwC, Aniec took charge of his family business in China, which achieved a consolidated revenue of 170,000,000 Chinese Yuan (MYR101,000,000) in 2018. Notably, his strategic investment in a local bank resulted in a 30% increase in the bank’s business and revenue within the first year. The total transaction value of this investment, in collaboration with local ultra high net worth individuals and private equity, amounted to 380,000,000 Chinese Yuan (MYR225,000,000).
In 2019, Aniec embarked on his entrepreneurial journey by founding several businesses. Driven by his passion for sports, he established the Leon Equestrian Club, a soccer club, and the first British Horse Society (BHS) approved riding center in Northeast China. Additionally, in 2020, Aniec co-founded MTC Brand Consultancy, a brand strategy and marketing expert in China that has provided services to multinational companies such as P&G, Hilton, China Welfare Lottery, K11, and DragonPass within their first 4 years of operation.
