Christopher Wong Zhi Yi
Director & Founding Partner
Christopher is a fund manager with experience in both public and private market locally and globally. Specialist in crafting unique private fund that fits the market trend and investor’s needs. Christopher is an experienced professional in the finance and investment industry. He has worked with some of the most reputable multinational companies, such as the Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) and International Business Machines (IBM).
Upon graduating from Lancaster University with a Bachelor’s Degree in BA (Hons) Accounting and Finance, he started his career with the Royal Bank of Canada (RBC), serving as a Fund Accountant. His duties included the calculation of NAV of RBC’s investment portfolio, predominantly within the London Stock Exchange.
Christopher served as a country financial analyst for International Business Machines (IBM) Malaysia. He was responsible for the entire software category’s financial forecast and projection for the Philippines. He ensured that each software project and implementation adhered to the budget set out by the company and managed macroeconomic risks.
Subsequently, at Crewstone International, Christopher, with his unique approach to investments and deep understanding of investors’ needs, successfully structured, created, set up, and managed funds with more than USD 230,000,000 in assets under management during his first 12 months with the company. This achievement made him one of the youngest in the industry to set up and manage funds with over USD 200,000,000 in assets under management. Additionally, he successfully helped raise capital for multiple companies, with total investments exceeding MYR 30,000,000.

Marcus is a corporate lawyer focusing and has extensive experiences in capital market, finance, fund management, family office, cross border investments and corporate laws.
Marcus is a practicing lawyer in Malaysia and founded his own practice by the name of Marcus Tan & Co, later joined by other partners with the same vision of becoming legal-preneurs. Currently, Marcus Tan & Co offers legal services in various areas of practice, including corporate law, dispute resolution, construction, real estate law, and offshore Labuan matters.
Marcus personally focuses and practices in corporate law and capital markets, including but not limited to corporate advisory, IPOs, fundraising, fund management, setting up of family offices, cross-border investments, mergers & acquisitions, Labuan offshore matters, data protection, and the entertainment industry.
Marcus is a senior partner in Censuria Capital Sdn Bhd, a private equity management corporation (PEMC) licensed by the Securities Commission of Malaysia.
He is a director at GDC Fund Management Ltd, a fund management company licensed by the Labuan Financial
Services Authority (LFSA). He is also a member of the Audit & Risk Committee (ARC) at Tunku Abdul Rahman University College Education Foundation.
In December 2023, Marcus was nominated and awarded the “40 Under 40” Asia Pacific by Lexis Nexis.

Senior Associate (Investment)
Linx brings a rich blend of experiences in analytics, technology, finance, and investment, gained from both startups and multinational corporations. In 2020, she graduated with First Class Honors from Lancaster University, United Kingdom with a Bachelor’s of Science (Hons) in Information Systems (Business Analytics), achieving a CGPA of 4.0.
Linx’s career began in technology consulting at KPMG and Ernst & Young, specializing in data visualization and analytics. These roles honed her skills in client engagement, requirements gathering, and presenting data-driven solutions, laying a strong foundation for their future roles in finance and investment.
In 2022, she then transitioned into the edtech sector, initially serving in business development, later as an Investor Relations Officer, and ultimately as the Head of Corporate Finance at Reskills.
Currently, Linx serves as a Senior Associate at Spartan Ives Capital, where she co-manages 5 funds. Her responsibilities include evaluating investment opportunities through developing and stress-testing financial models, assessing credit and operational risks, and managing portfolio reporting. She also serves as an investment committee member for one of the balanced funds. She has been actively involved in multiple transactions across sectors such as industrial development, renewable energy, and financial services, contributing to the fund’s investment decisions and risk management processes.

Amelia Chai

Amelia Chai
Junior Associate (Public Relation & Marketing)
Amelia brings a strong foundation in digital business and communications. In 2024, she graduated from Tianjin University, China with a Bachelor’s of Management in Electronic Business.
Upon graduation, Amelia joined Spartan Ives Capital as her first professional role, taking on responsibilities in public relations and marketing. Within two years, she successfully grew the company’s LinkedIn account following from 100 to over 400 followers through consistent and purposeful content, reflecting her ability to build brand presence and engage a professional audience.
Amelia has also demonstrated strong organisational and coordination capabilities. In 2026, she assisted the company in organising a Tsinghua University Master’s programme recruitment event in Kuala Lumpur. Her ability to liaise effectively across departments makes her a reliable and integral part of the Spartan Ives Capital team.

Sharlini

Sharlini
Executive Assistant
Sharlini serves as Executive Assistant at Spartan Ives Capital, playing an essential role in ensuring the smooth day-today operations of the firm.
Sharlini is also responsible for the preparation and delivery of documentation between Spartan Ives Capital and our client companies, as well as the submission of agreements and official documents to the relevant government offices. Her dedication and attention to detail allow the leadership team to remain focused on delivering value to investors and portfolio companies alike.
Beyond operational responsibilities, Sharlini supports the preparation of internal reports and investment-related documentation, contributing to a structured and efficient workflow within the firm.
